Disconnect the dryer duct from the back of the dryer. Start by moving the dryer away from the wall. Before you can use your leaf blower vacuum to clean the dryer vent pipe you need to access the area with the vent and get it ready for cleaning. If you have a gas dryer turn the supply valve off while cleaning. To clean your dryer vent remove the outside cover on the vent and use a special lint brush with an extendable handle to clean the inside of the pipe. Use a screwdriver to release these so that you can vacuum.
