You don t need specialty cleaners for marble. Scrub gently and wipe soapy solution off with a clean. Water stains can be easily removed from marble. Acidic and abrasive cleansers are a big no no for marble counters because they can scratch and stain the surface.

If you spilled anything oil based like a vinaigrette. If not using marble cleaner mix a squirt of gentle non abrasive dish soap with warm water in a spray bottle and spray the counter generously. Wipe sudsy water on the counter with a soft cloth or sponge. But first you should remove any large crusty hard water build up using a plastic scraper to get the bulk of it off.

But while it is a durable material cleaning it can be a little tricky if you don t use the right products. This will remove dirt but won t heal any etching or stains. For daily cleaning you just need some dishwashing soap and warm water to keep the marble clean.
